DocShield Watermark is designed as a privacy-focused document watermark tool. The app helps users add watermarks to certificates, ID documents, contracts, scanned files, images, and PDF files.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, upload, store, sell, or share your private documents, certificates, IDs, images, PDFs, watermark text, or exported files.
Watermark processing is performed locally on your device whenever supported by the app. Your original files are not uploaded to our servers for watermark processing.
2. Files and Documents
When you select a photo, image, scanned document, or PDF, the app uses the file only to generate a watermarked output file on your device.
- Your original documents remain on your device.
- Your watermarked exports are saved only when you choose to save or share them.
- We do not have access to the contents of your documents.
3. User-Generated Watermark Text
The app may allow you to enter custom watermark text, save local templates, or keep recently used watermark text. This information is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.
4. Local History and Templates
If the app provides history records, recent text, or custom templates, these features are intended for your convenience and are stored locally. You may delete history, recent text, or templates from the app settings when available.
5. Permissions
The app may request permissions only when needed for core features:
- Photos: to import images and save exported files.
- Camera: to take a document photo.
- Files: to import or export PDF and image files.
You can manage permissions in your device settings.
6. Purchases and Subscriptions
The app may offer optional paid features or subscriptions. Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment card information.
Subscription management, cancellation, refund requests, and billing details are handled through your Apple ID account settings and Apple App Store policies.
7. Analytics and Diagnostics
The app may use Apple-provided crash reports, diagnostics, or App Store analytics to help improve stability and performance. These tools do not give us access to your private documents or file contents.
8. Third-Party Services
If the app uses third-party services for purchases, crash diagnostics, or basic app performance analysis, those services are used only to support app functionality and reliability. We do not use third-party services to upload, scan, or store your documents for watermark processing.
9. Children’s Privacy
The app is not intended to collect personal information from children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Data Security
Because watermark processing is designed to happen locally, your document privacy depends partly on how you manage your device, storage, backups, and sharing actions. Please avoid sharing sensitive files with untrusted recipients.
11. Your Choices
- You can delete exported files from your device at any time.
- You can delete local history or templates if the feature is available in the app.
- You can revoke app permissions in your device settings.
- You can manage subscriptions through your Apple ID account.
